GLP‑1 dose chart: what the labels list.

The doses each GLP‑1 medication comes in, how often it’s taken and in what form, from the US prescribing information on DailyMed. It’s a reference for reading a prescription or setting up a log, not a dosing schedule: your prescriber decides your dose and when it changes.

How to read it

  • Listed isn’t prescribedA label lists every strength a medication comes in. Which one you take, and when it changes, is your prescriber’s decision.
  • Same drug, different brandsOzempic® and Wegovy® are both semaglutide; Mounjaro® and Zepbound® are both tirzepatide. They’re approved for different uses and come in different strengths.
  • Pills aren’t pensOral semaglutide doses are in different milligrams from the injection. They aren’t interchangeable by number.
  • Missed dosesThe labels differ on what to do after a missed dose. Your label explains it; ask your prescriber or pharmacist if you’re unsure.

Compounded medication

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide aren’t FDA-approved, so there’s no label of this kind and no standard chart. Strength depends on the pharmacy: the same milligram dose can be a different number of units on the syringe. Go by the instructions from your prescriber and pharmacy, and record both the milligrams and the units. Tracking compounded GLP‑1.

Logging your dose

When you set up Max HP, you pick your medication and enter the dose your prescriber set. Max HP never suggests, calculates or changes a dose. Each time the dose changes, you start a new dose step, and the Ladder shows how each one went.
