A compounded GLP‑1 tracker that keeps units and milligrams apart.
Max HP is a private GLP‑1 dose tracker for iPhone that works with compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. It saves the dose in milligrams and the units you draw side by side, exactly as you enter them, and never calculates one from the other. Log each dose, rotate sites, count vials and see each dose step. No account, and your log is never sent to us.
Why compounded doses are easy to get wrong
Compounded GLP‑1 medications aren’t FDA-approved, so there’s no standard label, pen or strength. The FDA says “the agency does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed.” Concentration depends on the pharmacy, so the same milligram dose can be a different number of units on the syringe.
The FDA has received reports of dosing errors, which it says “resulted from patients measuring and self-administering incorrect doses of the drug, and in some cases, health care professionals miscalculating doses of the drug.” FDA’s Concerns with Unapproved GLP‑1 Drugs Used for Weight Loss, content current as of October 1, 2026.
What to log
- Milligrams and unitsBoth, exactly as your prescription or pharmacy label says. Max HP shows them side by side in your log and on the Clinic Report.
- The vialNote the pharmacy and the concentration on its label, in case either changes. Max HP counts your supply down as you log.
- The siteAbdomen, thigh or upper arm, with a different site each time. Max HP’s body map shows days since each site was used. Printable site tracker.
- How the week wentGreat, off or rough, with side effects, appetite and food noise.
What Max HP won’t do
It won’t convert milligrams to units or units to milligrams, suggest a dose, or check a dose against a label: there isn’t one. If you’re unsure how much to draw, ask your prescriber or pharmacist before you inject.
Setting it up
Choose Semaglutide › Compounded vial or Tirzepatide › Compounded vial. Enter the dose in mg as prescribed and, if you like, the units you draw, as written on your label. If you later switch to a branded pen, archive the compounded vial and add the pen. The vial’s history stays in your Ladder, Log and reports.
At the appointment
Max HP groups your log by dose step: the weeks you spent on each dose. For every step, a Step Review shows weight rate, side‑effect days, appetite and doses on time, next to the step before. The Clinic Report puts every step on one page for your prescriber. The units you drew are on it, next to the milligrams.
