Looking for a Shotsy alternative? Max HP is built around your dose steps.
Max HP is a GLP‑1 dose tracker for iPhone with no account, no ads and no Max HP server. It logs shots and pills in two taps, rotates injection sites and groups everything by dose step, so you can see what each dose did and bring it to your appointment on one page.
Why switch from Shotsy to Max HP
- Every dose step on one screen. The Ladder lays out your dose steps as a staircase over your weigh‑ins and symptoms, and Step Reviews compare each dose with the last: weight rate, side‑effect days, appetite and doses on time.
- A one‑page report for your appointment. The Clinic Report is a PDF with every dose step on page one and the detail behind it, to print or send.
- Your log stays on one phone.Shotsy syncs through iCloud. Max HP doesn’t sync at all, and you decide whether your iPhone backup includes the log.
- Pro for less.Max HP Pro is $8 a month. Shotsy’s listing shows monthly plans from $9.99 to $14.99.

Is Max HP right for you?
Max HP does one job: a clear, private record of your treatment. If you want the same log on your iPhone and iPad, food and calorie tracking, or an app in a language other than English, Shotsy covers those today.
Questions
- Is Max HP more private than Shotsy?
- Both labels declare no tracking and nothing linked to you. The difference is where the log goes: Shotsy syncs it through iCloud; Max HP keeps it on your iPhone and lets you leave it out of backups entirely. See every app’s label in the GLP‑1 App Privacy Index.
- Can I switch from Shotsy to Max HP?
- Yes. During setup, add your earlier dose steps and their start dates, and the Ladder starts where your treatment did. Max HP doesn’t import files, so keep an export from Shotsy as your record of individual doses.
- How much does Max HP cost?
- Logging, reminders, site rotation, supply, check‑ins and CSV export are free. Max HP Pro, for Step Reviews, the full Ladder and the Clinic Report, is $8 a month or $25 a year. Shotsy: free to download. In-app purchases listed include Monthly $9.99 to $14.99 and Yearly $39.99 to $59.99, as listed on 3 November 2026.
- Does Max HP give dosing advice?
- No. You enter the dose your prescriber set, and Max HP never suggests one.
